How CRSSC is structured

The Cross River State Sports Commission is organised into specialised departments and units that drive sports development, athlete welfare, facilities, and administration across the State.

Coordinates athlete pathways, competitions, coaching programmes, and grassroots sports initiatives statewide.

Administration & Human Resources

Oversees staffing, organisational policy, records management, and day-to-day commission administration.

Finance & Accounts

Manages budgeting, financial controls, payments, and fiscal reporting for commission programmes.

Facilities & Infrastructure

Develops, maintains, and optimises sports venues and infrastructure for training and events.

Planning, Research & Statistics

Supports evidence-based planning through research, performance data, and programme evaluation.

Media & Public Relations

Handles communications, stakeholder engagement, brand visibility, and public information.

Athlete Welfare Unit

Supports athlete wellbeing, welfare services, and career transition pathways.

Legal Unit

ICT & Digital Sports Unit

Drives digital platforms for registration, performance tracking, and sports administration.

Sports Science Unit

Applies sports science and performance support to improve athlete development outcomes.

Partnerships & Investment Unit

Builds partnerships with MDAs, private sector, federations, and development partners.
