The Cross River State Karate Team plays a vital role in the Commission's grassroots sports development programme by identifying, training, and empowering talented athletes to excel in both competition and personal development.

Our programme consists of dedicated athletes, certified karate instructors, technical officials, strength and conditioning specialists, sports scientists, and administrators working together to develop elite karatekas capable of competing with distinction at every level.

Through structured coaching programmes, grassroots talent identification, youth development initiatives, and regular competitive participation, we provide athletes with the technical skills, tactical knowledge, and confidence needed to achieve excellence.
