Para Karate is the adaptive discipline of karate that enables athletes with physical, intellectual, and visual impairments to compete in a fair, safe, and highly competitive environment. Recognized internationally by the World Karate Federation (WKF), Para Karate promotes inclusion, empowerment, equality, and sporting excellence.

The Cross River State Para Karate Team plays a vital role in the Commission's inclusive sports development programme by identifying, training, and supporting talented athletes with disabilities to reach their full potential.
