Cross River State Sports Commission

Welcome to the official website of the Cross River State Sports Commission (CRSSC). Sports remains a powerful tool for youth empowerment, social cohesion, economic growth, and global recognition. We are committed to harnessing this power to reposition our State as a leading force in grassroots and elite sports development in Nigeria and beyond.

Guided by our vision to be the leading State in grassroots sports development through sustainable programmes that showcase Cross River State while creating wealth for athletes, the Commission is focused on building structured pathways that identify talent early, nurture potential, and prepare our athletes to compete on national and international stages.

Our mission is clear: to discover, train, and nurture young and talented youths in sports, with strong emphasis on local content. We believe that the strength of Cross River sports lies in our communities, schools, and local institutions. By investing in grassroots development, coaching capacity, modern infrastructure, athlete welfare, and digital innovation, we are laying a solid foundation for long-term success.

In line with our mandate, the Commission actively collaborates with Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), Local Government Councils, private sector organizations, sports associations, communities, and development partners to ensure efficient, transparent, and impactful sports development across the State. As Chairman, I invite athletes, coaches, sports administrators, investors, partners, and the general public to explore this platform, engage with our programmes, and join us on this journey of transformation. Together, we are Building Champions, Uniting Cross River.

Thank you for your continued support.
